Tome

Accessibility

Built around native iPhone settings.

Last updated: June 9, 2026

Tome is designed as a native iPhone app. It uses standard iOS controls and follows system settings instead of adding custom themes or account flows.

System Appearance

Tome follows the iPhone light or dark appearance setting. There is no separate in-app theme toggle in V1.

Text Size

Tome uses Dynamic Type styles for library rows, player controls, setup screens, and support text. Some dense player labels use scaling and fixed tap targets so controls remain usable at larger sizes.

VoiceOver

Library rows summarize the book title, author, storage state, duration, progress, and current-book status. Player buttons include labels for play, pause, skip, speed, chapters, bookmarks, sleep timer, and dismiss.

Color

Tome uses text labels and icons, not color alone, for storage states such as on device, in iCloud, and partly downloaded.

Feedback

If an accessibility setting does not work as expected, email the iOS version, Tome version, the setting you used, and the screen where the issue occurred. Do not send audiobook files or private account information unless support asks for details.
